Steve and I took a quick break from wood splitting this weekend to take a few snapshots..

The curvy trails on the wood are damage from larvae feeding. (right)

My finger is pointing at an exit hole. (below)

So yes, the tree that I scavenged wood from was taken down because of emerald ash borer infestation.
