Greetings from the Pine Tree State, where I’ll be for the next few days, doing some landscape photography. So I might not be posting for awhile. Or perhaps I’ll post some nice scenery that has nothing to do with Maryland or wildflowers.
In the meantime, while doing some research I happened upon this great paper by the Maryland Botanical Heritage Work Group. If you’ve ever wondered why I’m so enamored of my home state, have a look.
“Maryland—a small state—is home to a disproportionately large number of different native plant species and ecological communities.”
